Start playing

1. Left-click or tap to reveal a square; a number tells you how many mines touch it.
2. Right-click or long-press to flag a square you have logically identified as a mine.
3. Combine overlapping number clues until every non-mine square is open.

Minesweeper strategy tips

• If a number already touches that many flags, every other covered neighbor is safe.
• If a number has exactly as many covered neighbors as unmarked mines remaining, flag them all.
• Work from exposed boundaries and compare adjacent clues instead of guessing isolated squares.
